BOW REHAIRING
February 6 - 10, 2023 | 10am - 4pm Daily
Tool-up for Course | FMI and to Register via UNH

The most frequent repair needed by string players is Bow Rehairing; learn this critical skill with Lynn this winter! This essential skill will benefit the student who is interested in building a shop of their own or who wishes to develop skills that will make them valuable to an existing professional shop.

BOW REPAIRING
March 6 - 10, 2023 | 10am - 4pm Daily
Tool-up for Course | FMI and to Register via UNH

Rather than replacing a bow that needs repair, fix it! This workshop will cover routine repairs that will keep bows in good working order. Often bows that come in for rehairing also need repair due to normal wear and tear from regular use. Since all these repairs can dramatically affect the weight and balance of the bow, it is critically important that bow shop employees understand the aspects of playability and the importance of meeting the physical and musical needs of the musicians entrusting them with their bows.
